2. LAND PREPRATION
Land preparation is important to ensure that the field is ready
for Planting. A well prepared field controls weeds, recyles,
plant nutrients, and provides a soft soil mass for transplanting
and a suitable soil surface for direct seeding.
Land preparation covers a wide range of particles from zero-
tillage or minimum tillage which minimizes soil disturbance
through to a totally “puddled” soil which actually destroys
soil structure.

Agriculture is the practice of cultivating and farming animals, food
and other life forms that are used to sustain life.
About 61% population is living in more than 50,000 villages in
Pakistan. About 50 years earlier, agricultural sector was not
considered as a commercial sector for economic development in a
large number of developing and developed nations. During the
last 50 years this sector is realized as a major productive sector of
Pakistani economy.
