This document discusses promoting social mobility, diversity, inclusion and equity in apprenticeships. It introduces the BAME Apprenticeship Alliance and BAME Apprentice Network, which aim to support employers in providing opportunities for Black, Asian and minority ethnic individuals through apprenticeships. The document highlights that BAME apprentices face challenges that influence their engagement with and experience of apprenticeships, and calls for support networks to help improve their experiences. It also notes that employers require assistance in recruiting more BAME apprentices.
