(Outside shop)
Middle of the street, Fin’s begging Sinead to walk to school with her. Fin’s dressed in his uniform while Sinead
is in her college clothes. Camera is MCU two shot. Fin is looking at the floor, holding his bag on his shoulder.
Fin
(Fed up) Why Can’t I just walk with you?
Sinead
(Snappy) Because you just can’t, okay? (Points to the right and nods her head) Do one.
Tracking shot MCU as Maddie enters dressed in casual clothes with books ready for college. Her face is smug.
Maddie
(Joking) never had you down as a cougar Sinead?
Camera jump cuts to a three shot of all characters.
Sinead
This (somewhat proudly) is my little brother, (slaps Fin’s face playfully) Fin.
Camera is BCU on Maddie’s reaction, she is slightly smiling. Jump cuts back to two shot of Sinead and Fin.
Fin
(Cheekily) Are you the lesbian one?
Camera reverse angle edits to Maddie who is frowning, confused.
Sinead
FIN!
Gaz bounces over with extreme confidence and camera shot changes to a three shot of Fin, Sinead and Gaz,
Maddie is still there but off camera.
Gaz
(Confidently)What’s hap’nin Fin-lad?
Gaz smiles. MCU on Maddie, she’s smiling. Sinead walks over to Maddie.
Maddie
(Elongated vowels, pretends to be excited) He’s back.
Jump cut to Sinead’s reaction which is bemused
Sinead
(Hazily) Err, where’s the car?
MCU two shot of Fin and Gaz
Fin
(Intrigued)What car?
Gaz
(Proudly) That little beast over there
Fin and Gaz both look at the car, the camera pans from two shot of Fin and Gaz to the car, then back again.

2. Fin
(Acting cool) Oh the convertible
Fin nods slightly in approval.
Gaz
Yeah man, wanna take it for a spin?
Gaz points to the red convertible.
Fin
(Excited) Really?
Gaz nods.
Gaz
(Trying to impress) Yeah man let’s see what this baby can do ey?
Fin pulls his backpack up and Gaz puts his sunglasses on.
Sinead
(Commanding) Err mum will go mad if you’re late!
Fin and Gaz walk towards the car, Gaz turns back and smiles while shaking his head
Fin
(Serene) Sooo!
BCU on Sinead’s face, she frowns and shakes her head.
Sinead
(Worried) Not like I care
Camera jump cuts to Maddie, she smiles.
Maddie
(Manipulatively) It’s really sweet yano the lengths he’s going to impress you.
