the topic discussed is

3. During this TED talk he goes
into talking about happiness
and the things people believe
can and or would bring them
“happiness.” When really
they do not but we just
expect them to. For instance
a nice car, big house, and a
good job.

4. After this he breaks into mind
wandering. Mind wandering
something that humans can do
all day at any point regardless
of what we are doing of
focusing on can split our mind
to think about other topics at
hand. Whether it be
past, present, or future
related.

5. Overall Mind-wandering
happens 47% of the time
but at least 30% of our
day making mind-
wandering ubiquitous.
And mind-wandering
whether it be good or bad
will actual make you think
more unpleasant then
concentrating on the task
at hand/ things we are
currently doing.

He captured the attention of
the audience with a very generic hook as
simple as wanting to be happier

speech?
Though Matt
Killingsworth speech had a
strong idea the style of the
presentation did not keep me
engaged, as much as I would
have liked.

very energetic and
showed compassion f
or what he studied as
a scientist with the
effects of
happiness. During the
presentation as well
as showing an Iphone
app he created to be
able to motorize
people happiness in a
minute to minute
response. To me
shows how much he
cares about this topic
on hand on and off
the stage.

9. Though he may be
energetic in
the presentation
and have a guide
line of topics and
structure already
created. It does not
mean the topic and
the way it is
presented to
the audience is
always the most
engaging. Though
he
has scientific data I
still feel it lacked a
good hook after
the presentation be
gan.

11. Both Sir Ken Robbinson & Matt
Killingsworth have upbeat
tones, good structure, and
compassion for the topics
within the presentations.

12. Sir Ken Robinson is a better presenter
for his visuals used are better, more
engaging, uses humor to
keep the audience engaged, as well as
he is passionate about everything he
talked about in greater detail. Both
Matt And Sir Ken Robinson have
compassion for the topics they talked
about it just seemed the executions of
the presentation were completely diff
erent to the audiences.

14. I thoroughly enjoyed
listening to Sir Ken
Robbinson Speak in both
presentation. The structure
and outlook presented on
his views would be idealistic
from how I would speak in
front of an audience of a
topic I felt this strongly
about. The use of humor to
keep the audience engaged
is what I try and incorporate
into my speeches I have
done in the past. Giving
them something that they
can look back into and
relate to have a better
understand.

15. Keep the audience in mind though we understand everything that we believe to
be true. Does not mean the audience or viewers will be able to grasp it as easily.
Creating good visuals and topics with great detail and some humor to keep
them engaged then rather bored over time is ideal.
