This document discusses cultural and creative industries (CCIs), especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and their entrepreneurial dimension. It defines CCIs as industries that use culture as an input, such as architecture, advertising, design, and fashion. The entrepreneurial dimension of CCIs includes self-employment and assuming risks to create new products, organizations, markets, and production methods. CCIs are characterized by non-traditional employment, short product lifecycles, experience-based goods, and serving as drivers of economic growth, innovation, and technological change through creativity, design, and cultural content.
