1. Career Exploration Essay
Through the eventful Humphrey School DC career exploration trip last week, I've become a little
more daring and my dreams have definitely expanded its' boundaries. Continuing this zeal and
aspirations, I am excited to share that I will be joining the Legal team in the Governor's office as an
Executive Assistant & Policy Aide to the General Counsel coming Monday. These past 10 months
serving in Constituent Services have been a life changing learning experience and I look forward to
working on my expanded responsibilities along side with some of the most amazing women I know.

2. Choosing a Career Essay
My whole life I have always wanted to do something where people will remember me. I went
threw millions of career choices before I came to the conclusion of a nurse. It's not something
that will get me into History books, but its something where all the people I help will remember
what I did to care for them or their loved ones. My mom went to school to become and RN, but
dropped out when she became pregnant with me. After that story was told to me, I didn't want to be
anything related to nursing. It wasn't until my step mom went to school to be LPN that I realized it
would be possible for me to do. I saw how much happiness it gave her, and I want the same thing.
She loved helping the patients by treating them, and helping their families...show more content...
It is a program that is based on the health career field, especially nursing. I have this course for
three classes a day and it takes up most of my school day. These classes have given me invaluable
information and training that will be very useful in my collage courses. My volunteer work at the
Veterans Hospital will also help me with becoming a RN because it is sort of like on–the–job
training. I get to experience working with patients, in a real hospital setting. My step mom has lots
of her old nursing books from her LPN training. I frequently look into them to help me with my
Diversified Health Occupations homework, and sometime just to see how something works, or is
done. Everyone knows that health careers tend to make a decent amount of money, but according to
the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "the average amount of money that an RN makes is between
$47,710 and $69,850" (Registered Nurses). You typically work about fifty to sixty hours a week, on
a normal shift. Meaning, 7a.m. to 3p.m., 3 p.m. to11 p.m. and 11p.m–7a.m. During your shift you
will have to treat patients, educate the patient on how to care for themselves properly, provide
assistance and emotional support for the patients and the families of the patients, administer
medication, provide rehabilitation, use medical machinery, record symptoms and medical history,
as well as do follow up follow up records. As I learned from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, RN's

My Career Plan The future is uncertain for me, but it is important to develop a career plan that
will provide financial support and personal fulfillment over the course of my professional life. To
make this transition from school to a professional career, I am going to plan a plan that will help
me stay focused and motivated in meeting my goals and objectives. In the next paragraphs, I will

will be accepted and train in the new Marina store at the end of the year. In the book What Color

exposure of the knowledge and operations at the Dollar Tree. I am achieving most of this by
interning this semester. Tammi Huntsman is the manager there and I am shadowing her as she
performs skills of managing. I have ordered inventory, payroll, reset the store a few times, and
cashed out cashiers with her help. All skills I have acquired will help me down the line in
managerial positions.

4. Choosing A Career Essay
Choosing a Career: Reaching my pursuit of happiness
Finding a career is a long process for some people, but it comes naturally to others. Everyone
ponders about what they want to be when you're in kindergarten, when your imagination is
running wild and every possibility is an actuality. As I have matured, I realized what career I choose
is something that I love and will enjoy doing for the rest of my life which for me is to be a physical
therapist. My career choice didn't cross my mind until my senior year. Other kids would always
talk about becoming a cop, a doctor, and silly things like a billionaire. I was growing and learning to
find myself. My interests and hobbies became more prominent and it got me to realize later in my

I'm not limited, I can help elderly people who have problems from aging. Teenage athletes who
dedicate themselves to their sport and injured themselves. I want the ability to help people who
have been through an accident and help to rehabilitate them. I want them to feel safe with me and
give them the attention and therapy they need. I don't want it to feel like a job, but as a reward or
gift I can give to people. I have a system that I want to follow to reach my goal. First, I have to
graduate from high school. I want to get my basics done first which should take about two years at
Amarillo College. I have a plan A and a plan B. My first choice is to move in with my brother.
Buy a house with him, and help pay the rent while I work at the same time. My plan B is to stay
with my parents and drive to Dumas or to Amarillo to take my classes. I want to work at the same
time so I can have the extra money to pay for my bills. I'm paying for my school myself, but I will
very likely get help from my parents and my brother. Once I finish with my basics, I will then
transfer to West Texas A&M or to Oklahoma Panhandle State University. As much as I want to
graduate and move far away, I know that it's not very beneficial to me financially. I want to take
things slow and get my life together. Being a physical therapist is a very important job. I have to
learn how to create or choose different approaches to assist different injuries of different

"I feel sorry for the person who can't get genuinely excited about his work. Not only will he never
be satisfied, but he will never achieve anything worthwhile" (Walter Chrysler). Deciding on what
one wants to be in life can prove to be a demanding task. There are so many, yet limited, different
opportunities in the world to have an excellent career and make a decent living while doing
something one loves. It is limited because there are only a few specific career paths that someone
could take to make good money. It is very difficult to make a fulfilling living being a garbage man.

I am also interested in both design and math and as I was researching a job that incorporated these
two skills I came across civil engineering. Right now I have to decide which job path would be the
best one to take, counseling or civil engineering. Through the research shown below, I received an
overwhelming amount of information on every little detail of these jobs. Psychology "Few
fields of study offer more career opportunities than does psychology" (Sternburg 3). There are a
wide selection of specialties a person could go into with a bachelor's degree in psychology. In
graduate school, which is a must to attend, there is the option to explore the different specialities
or to go into the desired specialty without any research of the others. There are also many options
within a specific specialty. There is the option to be a teacher, to work for various organizations,
be a speaker, to have your own practice, and many others. In the psychology field these options
can all be combined. In fact it is expected of psychologists to do more activities involving their
specialty than solely sit in an office and listen to patients. There are two specialities that I am
interested in however, over the years, these specialties have become very similar. Clinical and
counseling psychology have evolved to become one in the same. Someone who specializes in
clinical psychology are more

As I begin my rewarding career as I teacher, I sit and reflect on what my goals and priorities are in
the classroom. I am excited to be engaged in a future career where I can implement my own beliefs
and mold the future into something extremely positive. I believe the most important aspects that I
want to bring to my students are threefold: I want to educate, motivate, and inspire.
In order to have a productive learning environment where I will be able to educate my students,
many different factors must take place. First and foremost, it is important to me that I master
exceptional classroom management skills. Effective and efficient learning takes place when
expectations in the classroom are consistent and clear. Also, discipline in...show more content...

approaches in each lesson plan will benefit every student. Not only is it important to use different
learning styles but I will also use different teaching styles during the curriculum. The different
methods I would like to use to teach my lessons include but are not limited to; scientific investigation
which uses the scientific method. The scientific method includes first investigating the problem,
coming up with a logical hypothesis, performing the experiment, reading the results, and finally
completing an analysis of the results. The next method I would explore is decision making which
is the thought process of selecting a logical choice from the available options. Next is problem
solving. When I teach the students to problem solve accurately they be able to overcome obstacles
and find a solution that best resolves the issue. Next, I will help my students think critically which
includes identification and evaluation to problem solving. Finally, I will use the method of
cooperative learning which is an approach to organizing classroom activities into academic and
social learning experience. I believe that every one of these method can be valued

7. My Career Choice Essay
I have not fully decided on a career choice, but if you ask me I would pick nursing. I would
choose nursing because of the many self rewarding tasks you can achieve while being a nurse.
For example helping and tending to an elderly who has no strength to complete tasks anymore
because of old age. Nursing is such a great career choice, I can see myself doing well within the
career and also being financially stable because of good pay. Also another detail I noticed in
being a nurse is how flexible your schedule can be. I believe that this career, nursing, would be
something I would enjoy and be comfortable with. I can also see it bringing me happiness in ways
that I can help families who have a loved one or friends who are need of urgent care. Without
nurses there would not be that certain individual to help another human being out at their
toughest times. After graduating from high school there is a range of nursing careers I can try to
pursue. Getting an education to achieve a bachelors in nursing is a very long process. Achieving
a diploma or an associates degree would be about two years in a community college or any
vocational nursing schools. Getting an associates degree would be the quickest way possible, but
the job offerings are way less. You can decide to go further than an associate's degree which is the
License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). An LPN student can pursue forward to
become an RN later on. Registered nurse programs usually go more in

10. Career Change Essay
INTRODUCTION
According to Mondy and Noe (2005), career is a job that has been chosen to be accomplished
during one's working life. Career is the progress and actions of the person's occupations or
sequence of jobs held by someone throughout a lifetime which is until that person end up the
careers. Most of the situations, people do not just referring to one position only but often looking
for another jobs which composed of the jobs held, titles earned and work accomplished over a long

However, based on all of the stages been discussed earlier, people in the mid–forties to mid–fifties
are at a different stage in their career and life than people that is at age 25 or 45. A careerchange
after age 40 can be a tricky situation. In this stage, people will decide whether to continue along
the same track because it is comfortable familiar and secure or change into the other career since
there is an opportunity to pursue new personal or professional goals. This stage is called as middle
career years or mid–career change. According to OUM textbook, mid–career means re–appraise
early career and early adulthood, reaffirm or modify goals, make choices appropriate to middle adult
years and remain productive. Mid–career is a time in which one is more likely to consider leaving a
current job in order to take work in an organization that might indicate promise of greater career
fulfillment or address a need for increased salary or benefits, intrinsic and extrinsic (WordWeb).
After 40, many people begin to look at life differently which they often begin to feel that life really
is too short to be stuck in a dead–end or unsatisfying job. In this middle age situation, it is a time in
which adults take on new responsibilities at the workplace and therefore, people of this age often
feel a need to reappraise previous life structures with an

11. My Future Career Essay
This paper will be about an outline for my future career choices. This paper will show that the
career I am striving for is a perfect fit for me. You will see in the paper that my personality traits
and the skills I have are great at helping me achieve my position in the workforce, and make sure
that the future career path I choose will make me extremely happy.
Someday I hope to become a physical therapist assistant or an athletic trainer. My personality
would be a good match for either of these positions because they both interact with people. I like
to think I am a friendly, trustworthy, and easy to get along with person. I can also solve
unexpected problems quickly and efficiently. I'm a quick thinker and I like to get the task at hand
not just done quickly, but right and to the best of my ability. I take pride in my work because I
know that it will be a representation of myself, future co–workers, and my future boss. Some of the
lifetime goals I have set for myself are to graduate college, start a career that I enjoy and that I am
good at, and when I look back I can be able to say that I enjoyed what I did in my career.
During an assessment that we took, some of the careers chosen according to my personality and
interests were in the medical field and closely related to a physical therapy assistant and athletic
training. Also on a skills assessment I ranked highly in coordination, critical thinking, judgement and
decision making, speaking, and time management. In my

13. Essay On A Career
Determining a career that will guarantee a person jobs is a hard deal to find in today's society.
Education is getting expensive to get and jobs require a lot of experience to pay you a good deal
of money. Many career have been failing due to new technology innovation and many career are high
in demand. People are unsufficient to decide whether to chose something they like or whether to do
that will make them earn more money. However, in all this career battle, we forget to ask one main
question: Are we happy with our career choices? This model of life is very twisted. What careers
we chose impact us for the rest of our lives. Therefore, we have to be careful and judgemental
when it comes to making these decisions. A person should only do what he or she would like to
do; therefore, they should find a career that helps earn more money and something that they enjoy
doing. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to become a business entrepreneur like my father. In this
further essay, I will talk about why I chose this career, what is career requirements, and what are the
future goals for me in this field.
There are uncounted numbers of careers that are highly in demand, but like my father, I want to be
business investor. As growing up, whenever someone asked me that what I wanted to be?; I said
many different things at many different times. After watching some inspiring film, I picked up that

14. The Importance Of A Career
There are many decisions an individual has to make in life, and choosing a career is one of the
most important decisions he or she can make. Many people struggle with choosing one because of
various factors that must be considered before embarking on a career path. Knowledge of self is
important because, in order to successfully choose a correct path in life, it is important for the
person to know themselves and align their personalities and abilities to what they choose to do.
Individuals must set goals for themselves in terms of what they want out of their education and career
so that they can make informed decisions pertaining to their lives. Plans must be carefully made if
people want a successful career that they feel fulfilled with. My client, Randy, has been through a
process of learning about himself, has goals that have been, and will be, fulfilled, and has set clear
plans on what he wants out of his career. Randy is a successful athletic trainer because he has taken
the time to plan his life out and find a job that best matches his personality and goals.
Self–Knowledge Goal A keen understanding of self is important in any important decision, as
someone must know themselves to understand what they want out of life. Self–knowledge means
understanding self, including what the person is interested in, values, likes and dislikes, and where
one's priorities lie. In the interview, Randy seemed to go through a process in which he found out
about himself through

15. Essay about Choosing a Right Career Path
Choosing a right career path can be tough. Especially, when the parents are involved. Parents want
their children to have a better life in the future so they want their children to be educated. When
they are successfully graduate from the college they can get a high paying job and earn much
more than their parents. However, does everyone listen and follow their parents' decisions about
the career? What happen if kids didn't want what their parents told them to do? Is there a
compromise and or one side needs to give in? It was a tough decision for me too. There was a lot
of pressure on me. I was hesitated and somehow worried when my parents were involved, but I

My explanation somehow did not work well. I started struggling between my career and my father's
"career". Before it was too late to decide my major, I gave a chance for myself and picked something
related to my future career. Before I told my parents I had decided to be a graphic designer, I did a
little research on the job. It was good, but required lots experiences to get in a decent game company
like Riot. But I did not stick with one job. I also heard of 3D modeling, programming and animation
were good choices for me and I liked them too. I decided to go to City Tech College for four years
education in Emerging Media major and I hoped I could get a job I like to do. According to the
article "As Income Gap Widens, New York Grows Apart" written by James Parrott, college educated
young workers' earning has fallen 6% since 1990. And it's false that those who pursue higher
education and skills can get a higher economic reword. Everything is competitive now; the value
of education does not count toward our future income earning. I realize that even if I graduated
from the college there was higher chance I would not have a job or a job that I did not expect and
paid very low. However, I do like what I do right now in my major class. I think if you did what you
want and be happy with it, it doesn't matter how low you get paid you still fulfill in your life. After
exploring some my major classes in my first semester in
