an avid supporter of ending family
homelessness across the nation. One of the
oldest substance abuse treatment programs for
women in the Dallas area, Nexus Recovery
Center offers a full range of treatment options.
Following is an overview of the three major
outpatient programs available at Nexus
Recovery Center.

3. - Adolescent Outpatient Program. Designed for abusive
and chemically dependent teenage girls between the ages
of 13 and 17, the Adolescent Outpatient Program requires
active involvement from families during the recovery
process. Clients in the program participate in activities
such as individual, group, and family counseling.
- Intensive Outpatient Program. Ideal for women who have
participated in the Nexus Residential Program, the
Intensive Outpatient Program holds group sessions five
days per week. Through a step-down model, participants
in the program can decrease their attendance
requirements to three days per week.

4. - Supportive Outpatient Program. The
Supportive Outpatient Program attempts to
balance the recovery process with
commitments such as work, school, and
family. Clients meet with individual
counselors and usually attend group
sessions between two and four times per
week.
