  1. The question I’m asking here is really more about how Enterprise 2.0 affects the management of knowledge as we’ve come to think of it, and to what extent it actually improves our ability to “manage” knowledge. Underlying this concept, however, is also the issue of whether or not it’s possible to ever actually manage knowledge. Much of the argument centers on the concept of what knowledge is and whether or not we aren’t really talking about managing information.
  2. We can’t “manage” knowledge; we can facilitate contextual relationships and the sharing of knowledge. It is only within the province of those people actively sharing to determine the meaning of the “information/knowledge” they are sharing.
