2. What is your understanding of
the term ‘‘connectivity’’?
 Connectivity is a way for people communicate with each
other around the world. This can help not only get in
touch with friends and family but also know the latest
news that is going on in the world.
 We can also receive information on arrange of topics
without having to and look for a specific book on what
you are trying to find out.

3. What are Facebook Zero and Wikipedia Zero
and how do these work? Why are these
thought to be good for developing countries?
 Facebook Zero is a social site where people around the
world can connect and message each other. This site
was a text only but was used to increase the amount of
people around the world to get connected. The site
also has no data charges for its users.
 Wikipedia Zero is a browsing site that has no data
charges. This is useful for developing countries by the
wide range of information it has available.

4. What other initiatives are taking place in
developing countries, to encourage people
to get online?
 New platforms were being tested to get the people who
can’t go online be heard.
 They are also using websites that give out guides to the
internet. This can go from the basics to languages and
the target others by using inspirational quotes.
 There is now a available switch between Ethernet, WI-FI
and 3G/4G in certain areas. It has a long lasting backup
battery as well this means that there will be an increase
in the number of people connected.

5. Do you agree with Zuckerberg’s view that
connectivity is a human right?
 I agree it is the best way for us to not only stay
connected with people including friends and family that
my be half way around the world from us. Connectivity
can also be valuable for information and making society
grow.
 Connectivity can help us grow as people and know more
about the world and what is going on without having to
travel very far.

6. How does your internet behaviour differ from five
years ago? Many people now turn to the web for
information on key services – are you among them?
 I feel like the internet behaviour has differed a lot over
the years. Now we have many people staying connected
through gaming and there is even a website were
people upload gaming videos as there job and stream.
Among that there are many other videos on that
website and many other websites and all types of new
social media.
 The capabilities of these new social media app has
expanded to a range of things. The behaviour of the
internet also differs with all the new technology being
released such as new computers, consoles, smart
phones and more. Netflix is an app that we can watch
full episodes of many great shows and exclusive one to
it
 I believe I am among the people who turn to the web
for information. Now the web has a lot more
information on a range of topics that can help progress
in life like careers, history, news and more.
