French Polynesia is an overseas collectivity of France located in the South Pacific Ocean. It consists of several groups of Polynesian islands including the Society Islands with Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo'orea and Papeete; the Tuamotu Islands such as Rangiroa and Fakarava; and the Austral Islands including Tikehau and Vaitape.
