Point : smallest basic
element of visual Art.
Line: a moving point.
Shape: two-dimensional
surface, height and width.
Textures: visual aspect or
tactile sensation of
surfaces.

• A line is a mark made by a moving
point.

composed by a single
line, either straight or curved.
• 2. Composite lines:
 formed by fragments of two or
more
straight or curved lines.

of loftiness and
spirituality. Erect lines
seem to extend upwards
beyond human reach,
toward the sky.
