detection
of disease.He said that women

Quacks & misled until Cancer
becomes untreatable.He
applauded
the untiring zeal of Dr Raza in
spreading awareness about
disease
He said:Breast cancer is the fastest growing cancer among
women all over the globe.So is in India . According to
GLOBOCAN (WHO), for the year 2012, an estimated 70218
women died in India due to breast cancer, more than any
other country in the world (second: China - 47984 deaths
and third: US - 43909 deaths )There are so many alarming
factors in In India,that India is ahead of China in incidence &
death .The age incidence in India is from 35 to 50 years
which is 10 years younger than in Europe and USA.There is
total lack of awareness among Indian women about the
disease. In USA 85 % women present early at manageable
stage of cancer whereas in India only 5% are diagnosed
early..If diagnosed early lives can be saved.The statistics of
breast disease is not correct in India due to several social
taboos and lack of knowledge. .We want to take off the fear
and myths from the minds of women
It is apprehended that the incidence will double by 2030

He narrated the plight of a 12 years
old girl who had a breast tumor 8cm
diameter.For 7 months, she was carelessly
tossed between Physicians,Vaid and
Hakeems,homeopaths,accupressurists and
Molvi aamil.No one examined her lump
.She Finally came to us.It was removed by a
Scarless method .It was not cancer

कैं सर रोग सिजन डॉ. मोहससन रिा ने कहा कक भारत में स्तन कैं सर से पीड़ित रोगगयों
की सांख्या तेिी से बढ़ रह है। डब्ल्यूएचओ की ररपोटज का हवाला देते हुए कहा कक
70218 महहलाएां हर साल स्तन कैं सर के कारण मौत की सशकार हो रह हैं।
एएमयू के अिमल खाां नतजब्लबया कॉलेि के सभागार मेड़डक्स सामाजिक सांस्था की ओर से
आयोजित महहलाओां में कैं सर िागरूकता कायजक्रम को सांबोगधत करते हुए डॉ. रिा ने
कहा कक भारत के बाद चीन और अमेररका ऐसे देश हैं, िहाां स्तन कैं सर से महहलाओां की
सवाजगधक मौतें होती हैं। अमेररका में 85 फीसद महहलाएां स्वयां ह स्तन कैं सर की िाांच
करा लेती हैं िबकक भारत में मात्र 5 फीसद महहलाएां ह ये कर पाती हैं। देर से वववाह,
देर से बच्चे का िन्म, बच्चे का स्तनपान न कराना आहद इसके प्रमुख कारण हैं।
रेड़डयोथेरेपी ववभाग के अध्यक्ष प्रो. शाहहद ए ससद्द की ने कहा कक देश में 35 वर्ज से
लेकर 50 वर्ज की महहलाएां स्तन कैं सर का सशकार है। कु लपनत िमीर उद्द न शाह की
पत्नी सबीहा सीमी शाह ने कहा कक महहलाओां को अपने रोगों को नछपाना नह ां चाहहए
बज्क गचककत्सक से परामशज अवश्य लेना चाहहए। लांदन से आए इां. इकबाल महमूद खान
ने कहा कक लिककयों में स्तन कैं सर के प्रनत िागरूकता असभयान चलाया िाना चाहहए।
डीएसडब्ल्यू प्रो. अनीस इस्माईल ने सांस्था के कामकाि से अवगत कराया। सांचालन
ऐमन िाफर ने ककया। इस मौके पर डॉ. फरिाना हाद , डॉ. एस जियाउर रहमान, डॉ.
कासशफ रिी, डॉ. दाननश सुहेल, डॉ. मुहम्मद साककब, याससफ इकबाल, उमैर, तासलब,
