I wrote this a few years ago when I did the Great Brain Debate. At the time there was a strong view that young people were shallow, narrow and disconnected. I didn't, and still don't believe it. I thought i would write down what i did believe.
1. Rexster’s Creed
I believe open is better than closed
I believe in the crowd and the cloud
I believe in them not you
I believe in self organising not hierarchy
I believe transparency drives accountability then authenticity
I believe that access to information drives democracy
I believe we use technology first for fun, then what matters
I believe you should not fear, but embrace and learn
I believe that knowledge shared is more powerful than knowledge held
I believe that we can mobilise for good like never before
I believe that kids are our future
I believe they are broad not narrow
I believe they are deep not shallow
I believe that we can learn from them
I believe they can lead our leaders
I believe in us
