If y=6, then x=3 and x+1=4
Here, y is the longest and the sum of any two sides is also greater than the remaining side. So

here, 2+3<8 i.e. the sum of two sides of is not greater than the third side. So the sides don't form
a triangle.
Hence our answer is B only.

Slope of the line k=b-s/a-r=-ve
(a-r)(b-s)<0
When a-r=+ve, then b-s=-ve

So choice C is also true.
