Writing Portfolio Requirements

You MUST type the following writing assignments:
   1. Timed writing piece: Think of a person who overcame an obstacle in life. What was the
      problem? (paragraph A) How did they overcome the problem? (paragraph b- describe the steps)
      What was the outcome? (paragraph c)
   2. Summary of Lancet article (if you don’t have this done, get the article, summarize each
      paragraph into one 6-10 lined paragraph).
   3. Poetry analysis (5 paragraphs—if you don’t have this done, follow the outline)
   4. Personal essay- see page 195 in your student workbook
   5. Personal Narrative (see below)
