• The fundamental purpose of school is
  to ensure high levels of learning for
  all students. How do we create a
  school that helps more kids learn at
  higher levels?

It is all about student learning:

 What do students need to learn?

 How do we know the students have learned it?

 What do we do if they haven’t learned it or if they
 already know it?

 Although we make large gains in student
 learning, it is not enough.

 At the same time, there is no more time in the
 day to do more of what we are currently doing,
 so we need to do what we are currently doing
 more efficiently.

Blended learning personalizes each
student’s educational experience by
   enhancing traditional teaching
     methods with technology.

 Couple student mastery with real time data
 by more efficiently identifying students’
 strengths and weaknesses.

 Informs teachers, through data compiled, of
 the student’s strengths and weaknesses.

 Strengths and weaknesses can then be
 addressed by the teacher who is now enabled
 to provide truly individualized education to the
 student.

 Due to our involvement with the GRACE
 Program we have been given the
 opportunity by the Archdiocese to begin
 a blended learning program at Purcell
 Marian.

   Archdiocese approval: Dec. 5, 2012
   Unanimous PM Board Approval: Dec. 10, 2012
 Consultant Group: Evergreen Education Group
   Experienced in blended learning implementation
     for traditional schools across the U.S.
 Based on months of intensive study, a decision has
  been made on how best to implement blended
  learning at Purcell Marian
