The financial, economic and for many, the livelihood, crisis that erupted in 2008 showed a cliffy downward freefall of economic trajectories unheard of in recent memory. The outbreak of the financial crisis provoked a broad liquidation of investments, substantial loss in wealth worldwide, a tightening of lending conditions, and a widespread increase in uncertainty. Higher borrowing costs and tighter credit conditions, coupled with the increase in uncertainty provoked a global flight to quality, caused firms to cut back on investment expenditures, and households to delay purchases of big-ticket items. Unemployment is on the rise, bringing with it a substantial deterioration in conditions for the most vulnerable. The sharp rise in commodity prices eventually resulted in The Arab Spring

The COVID 19 pandemic and the oil crisis have caused the constant depreciation of the currency in emerging countries to accelerate cause instability in the global financial market. Prices of risk assets have dropped harshly ever since the pandemic’s eruption. However, COVID 19 measures have brought about some positive effects on stakeholders of international financial management. Central banks will remain crucial to safeguarding the stability of global financial markets and maintaining the flow of credit to the economy. Financial, monetary, and fiscal policies should aim to reduce the impact of the coronavirus COVID 19 and ensure a stable, sustainable recovery once the epidemic is controlled. Ongoing international coordination will be essential to support vulnerable countries, restore market confidence, and reduce financial stability risks. Chi-Koffi Linda Christelle Yapo | Wang Weidong "Effects of Covid-19 Pandemic on International Financial Management" Published in International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (ijtsrd), ISSN: 2456-6470, Volume-5 | Issue-3 , April 2021, URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/papers/ijtsrd39798.pdf Paper URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/economics/international-economics/39798/effects-of-covid19-pandemic-on-international-financial-management/chikoffi-linda-christelle-yapo

Sustainable levels of public debt may need to be reconsidered in the context of Africa’s high economic growth rates and improved debt management among other factors. There is scope for debt management strategies to emphasise growth - for countries with borrowing space, this includes prudent borrowing for growth-enhancing outlays. African policymakers need to adopt sound fiscal policies and complementary monetary policies, while seizing opportunities for growth-enhancing investment. Current African debt is the lowest in decades, with the fastest decline posted by the most indebted countries thanks to debt relief and accompanying policies that made relief possible. Shortly after being hit by the global financial crisis in 2009, Africa staged a robust economic recovery and is now one of the fastest growing regions in the world. The continent’s performance is projected to remain strong despite the fragile and tepid global recovery. As several studies and scholars have now pointed out, Africa has the potential to become a global growth pole over the longer term. However, vast infrastructure and human capital gaps constrain Africa’s development. Balancing the need to scale up growth-enhancing public outlays and debt sustainability is therefore a key policy challenge ahead. What constitutes sustainable levels of public debt may need to be reconsidered in the context of Africa’s high economic growth rates, reduced risk premia, low interest rates, and strengthened debt management capacity. During the past decade, debt sustainability has improved markedly and in the aftermath of the global financial crisis Africa’s debt-to-GDP today is lower than it has been in decades. Still, the global financial crisis has left some countries with looming fiscal challenges and deteriorating public debt sustainability. This article considers the public debt legacy of the crisis in Africa. The following section summarises the recent fiscal and external indicators for African countries. We then present and discuss the varied fiscal outcomes among African countries as well as their impact on fiscal space four years after the global financial crisis.

During the last three decades (1980-2010) there has been an intensification of international economic exchange both in volume, regions and people involved. The scale and depth of economic integration has raised concerns among scholars that these developments are reminiscent of the era of pre-Great Depression liberalization. Critics of globalization point out that the removal of trade barriers and capital controls would tilt the balance of power towards capital holders and richer economies. Arguably, this undermines state sovereignty, democracy and internal stability. A growing number of scholars have dismissed those concerns pointing out the net benefits of trade and globalization and reduction of world poverty. The paper finds that concerns of the demise of the nation state due to increased economic globalization are exaggerated. Increased liberalization has only served to strengthen the role of governments. However, the net gains from increased economic exchange have not been equally shared domestically nor across trading regions. Countries that have embraced globalization but maintained their breaks over its downsides have made most gains.

Paris 5th of December: officials from around the world agreed on a draft climate change deal. Providing additional long term funding created a lively debate that sends a clear signal: reaching SDGs by 2030 will depend on world nations and societies ability to engage in strong global partnerships. Innovative funding blending public sector funding and private sector financing allows numerous flexible financial support solutions tailored to the purpose (i.e. the 17 SDGs); the social return and financial return objectives as well as to the beneficiaries needs and requirements. But this doesn’t go without challenges which this presentation tries to address!

Abstract: The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations are evolving to reflect changes in national and global economic circumstances. However, this shift has been far smaller in the critical issue of climate finance, which remains too mired in an increasingly antiquated North–South, developed–developing country dichotomy. This inertia poses a serious threat to our ability to mobilize the finance required to meet the climate challenge, and could hamstring the new climate agreement countries are seeking. However, an important new trend can help move this discussion forward: the rise of climate finance within and among developing countries. Far from diminishing the need for developed countries to increase their support for mitigation and adaptation in developing countries, so-called ‘South-South Climate Finance’ (SSCF) can help unlock much needed additional resources for the climate challenge. This article provides an initial mapping of SSCF and argues that: (1) the emergence of SSCF offers countries an opportunity to mobilize additional climate finance, including through multilateral development banks (MDBs); and (2) parties to the UNFCCC should track and foster the role of SSCF so as to more effectively align it with ‘traditional’ climate finance that flows from developed to developing countries.

Building Moonshots In today's rapidly evolving world, many industries have experienced disruption or are on the cusp of one. While organisations often discuss the importance of innovation and disruption for growth, it's not uncommon to find ourselves defaulting to familiar patterns and maintaining the status quo. To thrive amidst this change, businesses of all sizes must adopt strategic foresight not as an option but as an essential strategy. Developing strategic foresight enables organizations to anticipate and proactively respond to future challenges, ensuring they remain adaptable and resilient in an ever-changing landscape. By moving beyond "business as usual" thinking and embracing innovative approaches, companies can position themselves for long-term success.

Today, we see a slowly accelerating movement in business management towards coaching. Even the Harvard Business Review and McKinsey now acknowledge that coaching is the best approach to managing and growing employees. After decades of Agile, we also strongly understand that coaching is the preferred method of engagement at all organizational levels. There’s a wide variety of coaching options used in Agile today: GROW, OSKAR, ACL, STEPPA, etc. Let’s add a technique from Toyota, whose attitudes and methods are embedded in our Agile practices in many ways. It’s called Toyota Kata Coaching. And please don’t be fooled by its deceptive simplicity. I think it’s the best coaching method for Agile. Join this webinar to learn about Kata & see if you agree. Even if you don’t, think about the Kata as another coaching tool for your Scrum Master or Agile Coaching collection.

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY There are around 8 Tonne to 10 Tonnes of Slaughterhouse waste produced daily in the slaughter houses which perform slaughtering and dressing in limits of MYSORE Municipal Corporation. Slaughterhouse waste need significant treatment for a sustainable and safe discharge to the environment due tothe high content of organics and nutrients. Therefore, the treatment and final disposal of Slaughterhouse waste are a public health necessity. Slaughterhouse waste has become a major source of pollution in the State of Karnataka. Meat processing effluents are becoming one of the major agribusinesses concerns due to the vast amount of water used during slaughtering, processing, and cleaning of the slaughtering facilities. Slaughterhouse waste management system is very poor and several measures are being taken for the effective management of wastes generated. There are hardly any chicken stalls in the state with their own waste management systems. Scientific disposal of such waste is quite expensive and is the reason why they cannot have their own waste management system. Presently the stall owners pay people to have the waste dumped intorivers, streams, roads side etc. There are groups of people engaged in this activity. a. LAWS Slaughterhouse without waste management system will not be issued license as per the new food safety standard Act. Hotels are not permitted to buy meat from unlicensed stalls. In such a situation, a number of slaughterhouse will have to shut their shops. To avoid this, centralised poultry waste management system is the only solution. Dry rendering plants (Dehydration System) for every district will be a proper solution. b. DEHYDRATION SYSTEM The waste including the feathers undergoes process of hydrolysis by which it is cooked and broken down. Being processed under high pressure and at high temperature renders the waste free of any microbes. Cyclone separator, condenser, scrubber, ETP (Effluent treatment plant), Bio filter and chimney ensure that there is no environmental pollution. The processing of a batch takes about 4 to 5 hours and 4 such batches can be processed per day totalling to 15 Tonnes waste can be processed per day. 2.
