My presentation will be on modes of transportation to school.
What do people take to school? According to my poll, 12 people bike, 31 people bus, 19 people drive or get a ride to school, and 9 people walk to school. Most people rely of public transportation to get to school.
How long did it take people to get to school? 36 people took 30 minutes or less, 20 people took 31 to 60 minutes, and 15 people took sixty one or more. A majority of students that go to Galileo live in may different parts of the city or use a faster mode of transportation.
How much does it cost? 30 people get to school for free, and 41 people paid for their mode of transportation. Most people paid $0.75 or more probably for gas or bus fare. Some people may have walked to school or get a free ride.
How much pollution did people cause? 14 caused a lot, 38 caused some, and 19 caused none. Most people caused pollution because they take the bus or get a car ride. The non polluters are the bikers, and the walkers.
Do people consider their modes of transportation safe? 7 consider it safe, 28 consider it somewhat safe, and 36 consider it dangerous. Any mode of transportation is not safe in San Francisco, because there are reckless drivers, jaywalkers, and people get mugged or assaulted for walking.
