Cargo sous Terrain is a project to develop an underground pallet transportation system using proven tunneling technology. The system would use dedicated tunnels to efficiently transport cargo and reduce surface congestion. It aims to be privately financed using revenue from operations, CO2 certificates, and increased land values. An initial proof of concept tunnel is proposed between cities in Switzerland to demonstrate the system's ability to improve quality of life by reducing pollution while providing reliable, low-cost logistics.
