Final idea
brief
 The target audience would be teenagers aged between16-19 and the secondary audience would be for 11-
19 year olds. This is because they have found a gap in the market and in this area it needs to be expanded.
The purpose of the product will be to inform readers about upcoming actors and reviews of their films. It
will be digitally distributed on online e-magazines and normal magazines. It will be seen online on the film
magazine website, and in film magazines
 The magazine will be about kai and his latest sci-fi film coming out in March. The magazine will contain
background information about the actor or how they got into film etc and also information about the film
 My first idea is to interview someone, I’m going to interview kai about his latest sci-fi film, the time of
questions I would ask is how he got the part, what made he want to be an actor what his family thinks,
what is feels like to do his first big film and information about the film etc I will have a photos of kai on the
magazine with quotes around him of what he thinks and has said. There will also be pictures of him in
action in his latest films. The photoshoot will happen in the studio
 My second idea is going to be about an ex model who has become an actor as is working on her fourth
big film and I will be interviewing her about her career and what made her change career paths. This will be
a small photo shoot as well which will be done in the studio
 To get feedback on my ideas I will be asking people around age 16-19 about their thoughts and feelings
and weather it’s a good idea as they are the primary audience
idea
 The reason I have chosen my first idea is because there was better feedback about it from the focus group.
My first idea is an interview with kai and upcoming actor working on a new film. There will be a small photo
shoot then the interview will start. The reason why I have also chosen this is because the feedback from the
focus group was good and there was also ideas that were said back. Also the budget for this would be
cheap as most of it would take place in school.
 Another reason why I have chosen this is because this would be easier than doing the other, the model
photo shoot I would have to have the model in different positions and in different places which could
increase my budget, where as in my first idea I would two simple photos are needed which can be taking in
the studio and is more realistic and makes things easier
 Also for the ideas of my idea one has a strong story for example I have more to talk about in the film with
regards to kai being the actor himself his background and the upcoming film synopses
 With this idea it will appeal to boys with the age group of 11-19 as especially as kai is 17 and that means
boys around the teenage age can relate to kai’s own story more
 Judging by what my focus group said the took more of a interested into idea one and said it would be
better to feel the gap in the audience market and attract more young teenagers, making idea one a better
idea to go for
 The actor I will use for my first idea will be Kai
 The actor I will use for my second idea will be savannah
 Summary of ideas
 My First idea will be an interview and photo-shoot with a young actor
called kai
 My second idea will be an interview and photo-shoot with and ex model
who is now and actor and it will be about their career
locations
 Locations I am going to use:
 Studio (room 19) because it will be easy and simple
 Equipment list:
 DSLR camera
 Lighting
 I will start the photo shoot and the interview during lunchtime on a
Wednesday and I will be taking the photos of kai.
 I will also get consent from kai and his parents as to if I can take photos of
him and use them, also I will make sure he is taken out during lunch or
after school as he is entitled to his education. It is important to consider
these things because they could be ethical issues or legal or moral issues it
may go against the code of conduct
Equipment list:
 Cannon 50D
 Tripod

This will be a small photo shoot as well which will be done in the studio  To get feedback on my ideas I will be asking people around age 16-19 about their thoughts and feelings and weather it’s a good idea as they are the primary audience
  • 3. idea  The reason I have chosen my first idea is because there was better feedback about it from the focus group. My first idea is an interview with kai and upcoming actor working on a new film. There will be a small photo shoot then the interview will start. The reason why I have also chosen this is because the feedback from the focus group was good and there was also ideas that were said back. Also the budget for this would be cheap as most of it would take place in school.  Another reason why I have chosen this is because this would be easier than doing the other, the model photo shoot I would have to have the model in different positions and in different places which could increase my budget, where as in my first idea I would two simple photos are needed which can be taking in the studio and is more realistic and makes things easier  Also for the ideas of my idea one has a strong story for example I have more to talk about in the film with regards to kai being the actor himself his background and the upcoming film synopses  With this idea it will appeal to boys with the age group of 11-19 as especially as kai is 17 and that means boys around the teenage age can relate to kai’s own story more  Judging by what my focus group said the took more of a interested into idea one and said it would be better to feel the gap in the audience market and attract more young teenagers, making idea one a better idea to go for  The actor I will use for my first idea will be Kai  The actor I will use for my second idea will be savannah
