CAREER PLANNING
After graduated from Keuka College, the job that I want to get is Assistant of Director in a
foreign company, and five years after graduation I would like to become a Director. First of all, I
think my ability can work under pressure, and my English skill can master the work easily.
Especially I can speak English and interpret English fluently, and that is my strength, so I think I
can be fit with this position. The fact that I have the ability to persuade people, I can remain the
good relationship with the customers and good communication will make me different from all
of the other college graduates, therefore I think I can work effectively in this position.
My skills are presentation about new product, good communication, networking, and manage
human resources so that when I get out of college I will need to start in a middle to lower level
management position to gain experiences from every level that I pass through, and three
potential positions which I may be able to get when I graduate from college are Assistant, and for
two or three years later if I work hard and I can get promotion in Senior Clerk, and then I would
like to become a Director, because at that time I think I can have enough knowledge and
experiences really about management and control employees, and definitely I can work
professional in this position as well. To do well in this job the skills that I will need to develop
and to move up in my career are know how to solve problem effectively, and create a vision
about my company, especially strategic planning, but the most important skill to move up in my
career is leadership, because leadership skill is show who you are, and what can you responsible
2. for someone, so you have to keep prestige with everyone and your customers. Those are the
skills I need to develop and to move up in my career, so the activities will help me to develop
those skills are try to solving problem everyday, from easy to difficult, so that day by day I can
definitely solving a hard situation in my career at least one time in my life, and the second thing
that I need to improve in my career is have a look in general about company to creating a vision
for my company, to know which product should be produce in the market, so I have to know
clearly about this side. The last skill is leadership, to improve this skill I have to be a leader of a
team in college, so I have to practice leading others from now and in the future as well. If
everything goes well, I will be working in a Financial Foreign Company and hold the title of
Senior Clerk of HR three years after I graduate from college. My friends would say that I will be
successful because I can do well in manage HR, so I think I am definitely confident to do well in
this job. In the future, I hope I can apply the knowledge and my experiences that I gain from
college in my career, and I want to do well in Senior Clerk position.
After four years graduated, I can gain a lot of experience from my teacher, and my friends, but
the most valuable thing that I have learned from my first year experience class is how to manage
time, and how to creating a vision about strategic business in the future. I realize that I have the
ability to work independently, and helping others when they need help. In the first year
experience class, I can decide what I can do, and be responsible for myself and for others. I think
this class is very interesting, because it help me a lot in define a career that fit to my hobby and
my ability, it is also helping a lot in my future, and now I can choose a good career for my job
and for my life. From now, I can have the confident to choose a way to success in my future, and
for my whole life.
