in-aisle shopping assistant
Shoppers scan items, view in-store item information, share finds with friends, read reviews and
purchase their item from anywhere in-store. Retailers get to engage with shopper in-moment and
in-aisle.

SelfPay has room for everyone
Retail involves many parties. Payment methods, payment processors, and POS software developers
to name a few. Instead of aiming to shut down these players, we integrate to them in order to
create a seamless shopping experience for the consumer. SelfPay is where third parties thrive in a
seamless, fully shopper-controlled environment.

The big vision
We offer a unified omni-commerce service to retailers. By partnering with payments services, POS
developers and ecommerce suite providers, SelfPay adds value to retailers with an “online, at the
store, in the aisle” solution. Shoppers are in control; retailers engage shoppers in-aisle and
anywhere.

Launch

SelfPay launches December 2013 with LUX Beauty Boutique in Edmonton AB, Canada and January
with Gotstyle Menswear in Toronto ON, Canada.

It’s been a while since we last saw you at the Innovation Project this past March.
What have you been up to since then?

Digital Retail Apps has been busy developing the core functions of SelfPay and pursuing
relationships with key channel partners including Digital River, Vend and Lightspeed.
SelfPay has evolved into a multi-retailer branded offering that lets SMB retailers
outsmart big box retailers by offering a custom app, a full array of payment methods
and a line-free way to shop. Digital Retail Apps has received important recognition
with awards at top industry events. SelfPay won Judges Choice for Best Mobile Solution
at the CNP conference in Orlando in May and won a Payments Innovation Award at ACT
Canada CardWare in June. DRA was featured in the TSYS n>genuity journal podcast
and as part of a cover story published in May. June onwards has been head-down work
on app development, marketing and distribution ahead of our launch with 2 retailers
planned for Dec/Jan.

During the Innovator EXPO, you had the opportunity to showcase your demo to
major thought leaders in the industry, how did this type of access affect your
business? How did it change your go to market approach?
Participating at the Innovators EXPO put a bright spotlight on our young company and
provided access to key channel members critical to our success in the broad payments
ecosystem. We were invited to meet with senior executives at payments, card issuers,
retailers and investor firms. Following our appearance at PYMNTS we were invited to
speak at SXSW, CNP Expo, and Retail Council of Canada events. The PYMNTS Expo
was the inaugural event for launching our company in the dynamic payments industry
and helped put us on even footing with other much larger global companies.

What advice would you have for this year's exhibitors?

Have your A game ready and get set to meet with senior thought leaders and
decision makers. Don’t forget to take the opportunity to network with
companies large and small – you never know where the next big thing is
coming.

We are all about what is next in payments, so what is next
for you?

Digital Retail Apps is excited to launch SelfPay in December Lux Beauty
Boutique, and Gotstyle Menswear in January. The next steps for Digital Retail
Apps are to integrate with additional POS systems, gain adoption through
strong relationships with channel partners and to secure financing to help
develop additional features. 2014 is shaping up to be an exciting year for
DRA as we will be growing our team and introducing new retail clients. SelfPay
can be seen and demoed at the annual NRF Retail’s BIG show in January 2014
in New York City.

  • 3. It’s been a while since we last saw you at the Innovation Project this past March. What have you been up to since then? Digital Retail Apps has been busy developing the core functions of SelfPay and pursuing relationships with key channel partners including Digital River, Vend and Lightspeed. SelfPay has evolved into a multi-retailer branded offering that lets SMB retailers outsmart big box retailers by offering a custom app, a full array of payment methods and a line-free way to shop. Digital Retail Apps has received important recognition with awards at top industry events. SelfPay won Judges Choice for Best Mobile Solution at the CNP conference in Orlando in May and won a Payments Innovation Award at ACT Canada CardWare in June. DRA was featured in the TSYS n>genuity journal podcast and as part of a cover story published in May.   • 4. During the Innovator EXPO, you had the opportunity to showcase your demo to major thought leaders in the industry, how did this type of access affect your business? How did it change your go to market approach? Participating at the Innovators EXPO put a bright spotlight on our young company and provided access to key channel members critical to our success in the broad payments ecosystem. We were invited to meet with senior executives at payments, card issuers, retailers and investor firms. Following our appearance at PYMNTS we were invited to speak at SXSW, CNP Expo, and Retail Council of Canada events. The PYMNTS Expo was the inaugural event for launching our company in the dynamic payments industry and helped put us on even footing with other much larger global companies. 4| Proprietary and Confidential

  • 6. We are all about what is next in payments, so what is next for you? Digital Retail Apps is excited to launch SelfPay in December Lux Beauty Boutique, and Gotstyle Menswear in January. The next steps for Digital Retail Apps are to integrate with additional POS systems, gain adoption through strong relationships with channel partners and to secure financing to help develop additional features. 2014 is shaping up to be an exciting year for DRA as we will be growing our team and introducing new retail clients.
