I am writing to present my CV.

Currently, I am the English Department Coordinator at Colegio Internacional SEK, Chile.
In 2010, I taught Debate, Conversational English, PET, and FCE exam preparation for
grades 8 – 12 at Colegio Internacional SEK, Chile.

In 2009, I taught the following courses to future teachers of English in the English Pedagogy
Program at Universidad Andrés Bello:

Academic Writing – Level II and Level III (Thesis Preparatory Courses).

English Language - (Level 6 – CAE Course) & (Level 4 – FCE Course).

I also taught English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in the Commercial Engineer Career, the
Publicity Career, and the Tourism Career at UNAB, Campus Casona.

For 5 years, I taught (full-time) English at Colegio del Verbo Divino, where I also coached
the Debate Team in my final year.

I am the President of the professional organization: Teachers of English to Speakers of
Other Languages (TESOL Chile). To date, I have written and published twelve articles and
one EFL E-book, “Debating In Chile”.

I have given presentations at more than 35 international conferences in Chile, Argentina and
Peru. Also, I have attended over 50 conferences, workshops and symposia.

In 2008, I trained 96 elementary teachers in the MINEDUC English Summer Town Program
on “Reading Strategies”. In 2010, I trained 96 high school teachers in “Advanced Debating
Techniques”. January 2011, I trained 80 elementary teachers on “How to Teach Listening.”

On September 28, 2010, I was the invited Guest Speaker at Universidad Católica del Maule,
English Pedagogy Interdisciplinary Conference. 230 English Pedagogy students attended
my plenary, “Education with a Global Perspective”. I have been invited to return in 2011.

In 2010, I taught Debate, Conversational English, PET, and FCE exam preparation for grades 8 – 12 at Colegio Internacional SEK, Chile. In 2009, I taught the following courses to future teachers of English in the English Pedagogy Program at Universidad Andrés Bello: Academic Writing – Level II and Level III (Thesis Preparatory Courses).
