Profile: Currently working for BHARTI AIRTEL into telecom domain as a VoIP Network Engineer over Operations and
maintenance of ACME Session border Controller (Net 4250), NSN Surpass HIE 9200 NGN Switch, Media Gateway HIG
1200 and Sun Netra PCU (Packet Control Unit). Huawei Soft switch MSC-01, UMG 8900.Responsible for establishing
interconnects with VoIP International Carriers in SIP and H.323 protocols and TDM carriers in SS7. Co-ordination with
VoIP carriers for solving the complaints in SIP and h323 calls using wire shark trace.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for establishing interconnects with Voip International carriers in SIP and H.323 protocols and TDM
carriers in SS7.
Complete End to End testing is done between Bharti and top network Carriers. Wireshark Traces are analyzed and
CDR are validated both ends & finally live traffic will be added.
Operations and maintenance of ACME Session border Controller, NSN Surpass HIE 9200 NGN Switch, MGW HIG
1200 and Sun Netra PCU ( Packet Control Unit).
Performs routine maintenance on NGN platforms, monitors and analyzes traffic (ASR, ACD, NER), and maintains the
design and integrity of the voice network.
Co-ordination with VoIP carriers for solving the complaints in SIP and h323 calls using wire shark trace.
Working on troubleshooting of VoIP network carriers connected in ACME Session controller. Analyzed network traffic
and established interconnect through CLI and ACME NMS for VoIP carriers.
Trunk group overflow design and Trunk capacity changes based on the Utilization Reports.
Preventive Maintenance - Health Check, Offline backup, monitoring Online Backup.
Co-coordinating with International carriers to solve complaints like Low ASR, Voice related complaints.

2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitored the core network using various monitoring tools, provisioned routes on ACME SBC, and reacted under
certain privileges in case of network failure like rerouting, blocking and isolation.
Roles include taking the Backups & System Up gradation, doing routine O&M procedures according to the designed
process of the company.
Maintain the system at 99.99% availability.
Provisioning of network elements as per Change Requests of field team.
Commissioning of new E1s and creating the trunk groups and signaling links with Private operators and ILD carriers.
Analysis of Daily Performance Report to improve ASR towards local POI & International POI by starting Analyzer to
troubleshoot various parameters that are contributing towards low ASR.
Responsible for the lost calls due to DPC overload and also because of the Link load congestion and has to find the
RCA of that and to resolve it.
Shifting of Circuits or raising request for E1 addition in case of high utilization.
Implementing ILD CQ (Carrier Quota), LCR (Least Cost Routing) & Hubbing routing plan in NSN Soft Switch.
Effectively interfacing with people at all levels, managing healthy work environment and inculcating bonded teamwork
with high work ethics.
