This document discusses how organizations can use mission, vision, and values statements to build a purpose-driven culture. It defines mission as the reason the organization exists, vision as its long-term goals, and values as the guiding principles for employee behavior. The document provides an example from The Predictive Index, outlining its mission to improve work and the world, vision to be the most used talent optimization platform, and values of teamwork, honesty, reliability, energy, action, drive, and scope. It recommends organizations assemble teams to draft these statements, get feedback, measure success, communicate the statements, and periodically re-evaluate them.
