Everyone needs a shelter to live.
Houses keep us safe from hard weather, wild animals and dust.
Houses are built according to the climate of the place where we
live.
Walls, doors, windows and roofs have to be made to suit the

• Skyscrapers are very tall
buildings

• They are mostly made of
glass or steel

TERRACED HOUSE
• Terraced house is a tall
and narrow house
• It is attached in both
sides to other houses
• It is mostly found in
America
• It is also called as town
house
DUPLEX
• Two or one home build
under single roof
• It has luxury needs having
play area, car drive, lawn in
one house
FARMHOUSE
• It is built in rural or
countryside and agricultural
places
• It is mostly built where to
take care of animals
HUT
• Hut is a very simple house
• It is mostly built with mud
and dry leaves

• Palace are places where royal
people live in
• Kings, queens, prince,
princess, arch- bishop live in
palaces

CARAVAN
Caravan is a temporary house
on wheels
It mostly looks like a bus from
outside
IGLOO
• People in Arctic and
Antarctic regions live in
igloo with blocks of ice
• It is also called as snow
