 You oversleep most days.
 You drink too much.
 Every weekend you go chilling out because life is
stressful.
 Going out without any reason.

 Feel bored most days.

 Improve body language/ confidence
 Start a morning routine
 Have a better attitude

#4. Spiritual Goals
 Volunteer regularly

 Become a Temple Committee leader
 Be more mindful
 Mentor a junior
 Meditate daily
 Donate more money to those less fortunate
 Start/join a prayer group
 Give hands-on help to build homes/schools

#5. Educational Goals
Educational goals are important while in school or college.
But due to various reasons, individuals have to even study at
a later age to get promotions, to change the job or to find a
new livelihood.
Examples:
I need to do a Digital Marketing/Virtual Teacher Course
I need to do an MBA to get promoted to Executive Cadre
I need to do a Teacher Training Course to take VRS and
pursue Teaching Profession
#6. Relationship Goals
 Leave stress at work
 Dedicate alone time with your child/spouse
 Get more free time
 Increase family time
 Find a significant other
 Have children
 Get married
 Save for children's goals
#7. Physical and Health Goals
 Start each day with this nutritious green drink
 Keep vital signs in normal ranges
 Stay fit and active
 Have a regular exercise routine
 Achieve a massive physical fitness goal.
 Keep your immune system operating at peak

 Have the energy to get more done
 Live longer and be healthy till your live

1. Lifetime Goals
Lifetime goals are the goals that will take
anywhere from a year to an entire lifetime
to achieve.
The best way to figure out your life goals is
to picture a future version of yourself, you
would like to become.
Ex: I want to become CEO of a Company
I want to settle down in Canada
2. Long-Term Goals
A long-term goal often takes years to
achieve. You won’t complete this type of goal this
week, or even this year. Instead, a long-term goal
requires you to plan the specific habits and actions
to systematically work your way to this important
milestone.
Example: I want to retire by 40.
I will educate my kids at IIT or IIM
I want to build a 3 BHK,own an Audi car by 2025
3. Short Term Goals
Short term goals may be a month, six months or a
year. These are the stepping stone goals with the
express purpose of reaching long term or lifetime
goals.
These goals can further be broken down into daily
goals and weekly goals.
Examples: Stop using credit cards from Jan 2021
Start jogging daily and loose 5 kgs in a year
Enroll for driving classes to learn car driving
4. Stepping Stone Goals
These are transactional goals. Think of these as
action steps that allow you to reach bigger goals.
They are the bricks that build the short term goals
the build you long-term and lifetime goals.
Examples: Get up at 5.30 am and go for walking
Cut TV time and learn driving in week ends
Enroll for online course and spend an hour daily
Goal setting is the
process of deciding what
you want to accomplish
and devising a plan to
achieve the result you
desire.
What is goal setting
For many people, it's the
second part of the goal setting
definition that's problematic.
They know what they want to
do but have trouble creating a
plan to get there.
Goals without action plans are
just words.
There are three types of people
 Ones that make things happen
 Those that let it happen
 And the ones that don’t know what
happened.

SMART Goals
If goals aren’t reachable, they aren’t
worth making. All you have to do is
to set realistic goals follow the
SMART goals guidelines.
SPECIFIC
• What details do you want
to accomplish?
• “I want to do better in
Research Methodology
paper”
• “I want to become a
member of a professional
body within this week”
MEASURABLE
 All goals should have a way
to evaluate whether or not
they were accomplished.
 “I want to reduce my time
wastage.”
 “I want to reduce my time
wastage by 1 hour.”
ATTAINABLE
• Goals must be something
you are capable of
reaching.
Which one would be a better
goal for yourself?
“I will help my family to
reduce the debt burden”
RELEVANT
• Make goals that are important to
you and your lifestyle.
• Which goal is better for a
student?
• “My goal is to see that my father
buys a bigger car”
• “My goal is to find a good job and
help my father in running the
family”
TIME - BOUND
• Make sure that you have a
time set as a “dead line” so
your goal is not unending.
• “My goal is to be able to buy a
good two wheeler on my
own.”
• My goal is to buy a two
wheeler on my own by 2018’.
