The rehabilitation center Planète Enfants provides housing and support from a multidisciplinary team to residents. It offers medical care, education programs, leisure activities, and help with reintegration including family reunification or independent living. Services also include outreach to at-risk groups and job training through a sewing workshop to help women gain skills and employment.

1. The rehabilitation center
Planète Enfants rents, adapt and
maintains the building designed to
accommodate residents and team.
A multidisciplinary team is in contact
with residents on a daily basis: a
psychologist, a nurse, a teacher of
informal education, a social worker, a
lawyer and two housewives.

2. First necessities care
Planète Enfants provides direct assistance to residents, by distributions of food, clothing,
medicines, hygiene products, etc.

3. . Establishment of medical follow-ups (gynecological, check-up) and therapeutic
. Intervention of a qualified psychologist who conducts individual and group interviews
Physical and mental health

4. Education and recreation
. Awareness of rights and administrative procedures
. Educational activities, literacy and vocational training programs
. Leisure and relaxation activities: dance, outings, yoga, drawing, walks, etc.

5. Preparation and follow-up
of the reintegration
The exit from the center is
carefully prepared with the social
worker and the residents.
They can, if they wish, join their
families after an assessment by
our team of their living
conditions.
They can also be installed alone
with employment through support
and regular monitoring of Planète
Enfants.

6. Services outside the centers
. Regular visits of places of night-leisure activities, where social workers educate young women at
risks
. Outreach information and Council sessions
. Constant awareness to problem of prostitution during different events

7. The SHANTI workshop
Through this program,
beneficiaries have access to a
comprehensive training in
sewing, with very interesting
opportunities with regard to
traditional culture in Nepal.
The objective is to give young
women the desire to engage in a
contract in alternation and
support them in their future job
search.

8. The SHANTI workshop
In parallel to their training,
Dressmakers are involved in the
production of cloth (bags, covers
for cushions) and, in Exchange,
receive a small income.
These bags are then sold for the
benefit of world children, mainly
in France.
