This document provides an agenda for a teacher training workshop on project-based learning for teaching English to adolescents from July 23-28, 2012. The workshop aims to familiarize teachers with the concept and steps of project-based learning and to share useful teaching techniques for lower secondary students. Over the course of the workshop, teachers will participate in activities to explore vocabulary, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and grammar techniques for students. They will also play an icebreaker game called "Music Chairs."

5. Projects require a goal where students must search for a method,
acquire skills and knowledge, accept failure and bounce back from it,
and keep trying until the goal is achieved. They learn through
experiences, more important, they learn how to research and apply
knowledge. Success is measured by the complexity of the project and
the ability to finish it.
