Access Non-Volatile message in Sign memory.
Nowwe are able to control the behaviorof message. Here inthissectionwe will learntosave the same
messages into“Signmemory”.
The LED Signis capable tostore 18 messagesinside itsnon-volatile memory.Toaccessall the message
locationsthere issetof commands.

Save a new message
To save your messages into Sign memory there is a command ID 4. All its components
are explained below:
To better understand the save command here are few example messages explained
below.
Example 1:
|C|4|1|Your message for marquee sign|3|1|
Here in the above example we are trying to save a simple message on index number 1
with scrolling speed level of 3.
Example 2:
|C|4|5|message part one ~ message part two|4|1|
Here we are trying to save a message at memory index 5 having two lines with scrolling
speed of 4.

Delete a message
It is also possible to delete a particular message from internal memory by specifying
memory address. For that we use command ID 3.
To better understand the delete command here are few example messages explained
below.
Example 1:
|C|3|1|
Here in the above example we are trying to delete a message saved at memory index 1.
Example 2:
|C|3|15|
Here in the above example we are trying to delete a message saved at memory index
15.

Change the scrolling speed of Volatile message.
As you have noticed we can change the scrolling speed of saved messages by using
speed parameter in the save command. But there is a provision available to change
scrolling speed of Volatile message. Because we don’t pass any special parameter along
with the simple message string to tell its scrolling speed.
Scrolling speed mentioned here will not have any effect on the non-volatile saved
messages.

To resume displaying the saved messages.
When the sign will be turned ON. It will start showing the saved messages first. Until we
don’t send the volatile messages by sending simple message strings. And once we send
the volatile message then sign will continue to show same message until or unless we
don’t send another volatile message or we don’t restart the sign. But there is another
way available to resume back the sign to show saved messages. Here is the command
explained below:
