Catholic University (redesign launched the same week as AU’s): Nice Flash-style photo features that highlights various sections. A portion is dedicated to the school’s location in Washington. Boston University: Flash feature updated to reflect the latest information without sacrificing the overall style of the page. Boston, Catholic and Emory -- three AU competitors -- highlight the corresponding metropolitan areas on the home page. AU’s site is better than before, but is lacking the mission statement “educational opportunities in an intimate educational environment” Boston ranks 3,741 out of the top 1 million most visited sites on the Internet. Unique US visitors is 544,759. (from dataopedia.com) Emory ranks 4,997 and has 417,551 unique US visitors. (from dataopedia.com) Georgetown ranks 4,933 and has 422,424 unique US visitors (from dataopedia.com). Their law school website is still their most visited site over their homepage. (from dataopedia.com) George Washington University’s online application site is the most visited site above its home page (from dataopedia.com)
