2. WHAT IS YOUR GENDER?
 From this question I have found that my target
audience is 50% Males and 50% Females which
shows that my trailer needs to appeal to both men
and women.

3. WHAT IS YOUR AGE?
 From this question I have found that 100% of my
target audience are aged between 16 and 24 so I
therefore will need to make my trailer appeal to
mainly this age group where appropriate.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE HORROR FILM?
 From this question I have found that the most
popular horror film within the target audience is The
Strangers which is a slasher film which I can try and
use as the genre for my trailer.

5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SUB-GENRE OF
HORROR FILM?
 From this question I have found that Slasher and
Physiological Thrillers were the most popular sub-
genre so for my genre I will try and use one of
these as they are most popular with my target
audience and will therefore appeal to them more.

6. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO SEE IN A HORROR
FILM TRAILER?
 From this question I have found that in a horror film
trailer the target audience expects tension, an
outline of the plot and dark scenes. Therefore I will
have to in cooperate some of these features in my
trailer.

7. WHAT MAKES A HORROR FILM TRAILER GOOD
ENOUGH TO GO AND WATCH THE FILM?
 From this question I have found that suspense is
the main feature which will make the target
audience want to go and see the film from the
trailer so I will try to make sure there is a lot of
tension in my trailer.

8.  Overall from my questionnaire I have found that there
is an equal gender in my target audience so the
trailer will need to appeal to both genders. The ages
of my target audience are all 16-24 so where
appropriate I will need to make the trailer appeal to
them. The target audiences favourite horror film
overall is The Strangers and to see what the
audience liked about this film I could watch it myself
to understand what they want to see. The favourite
sub-genre is slasher/psychological thriller which I will
use in my trailer. In a horror film trailer the target
audience expects to see tension, dark scenes and an
outline of the plot which I will try and in cooperate into
my trailer. The main aspect which will make the target
audience go from watching the trailer to watching the
film is tension which I will therefore try and make in
my trailer.
