EuropePMC was searched with a simple
Query “-q marchantia” which returns all
Papers in which “Marchantia” occurred
We used dictionaries for genes,
auxin terms, pectin terms, phytochemicals,
Plant parts, species to create a dashboard showing the
most important terms in the papers. These are linked
To Wikidata entries.
Co-occurrence of genes and (plant) species is shown in
the bottom part.
In several cases it can be seen that the paper’s main
subject is not Marchantia (e.g. Slaginella). We can
therefore index more precisely than other search engines
