• “The use of time in a manner designed for
therapeutic refreshments of one’s body or mind”
• As people in the world’s healthier regions lead
increasingly sedentary lifestyles, the need for
recreation has increased.
• The rise of so called active vacations exemplifies
this!

• FRANCE, AUSTRRALIA, NZ, USA AND
SOUTH AFRICA had similar drives.
• Research the names of these initiatives in
each of the countries mentioned and find
out the background for them.
