Vásquez joined in holy matrimony.
January/Enero
3. We welcomed teams from Twin Lakes and
Point Pleasant camps to Trujillo. Children
from our churches and a nearby orphanage
enjoyed four days of camp, an unforgettable
experience.

5. The Peru Mission apprenticeship program began in earnest. Here, Scott

6. Josh and Elizabeth Johnson
arrived in Peru and started
language school in Arequipa.
7. Hermes Tomás shares some sound business
principles with the men of Las Ponas carpentry shop.
8. Norvil Campos saws a pona log. Pona
is a black palm from the jungle that the
carpenters of Las Ponas use to make
their signature crafts and furniture.
9. Cristo Rey Presbyterian Church welcoms Emanuel and Saray Romero, and their
children Shalom and Daniel, as members. Emanuel is a participant in the Peru Mission
apprenticeship program.
10. The guys in Trujillo enjoy their weekly Saturday evening soccer match.
11. Great strides have been made this year on
the hospital in Manuel Arévalo.
12. In January a team from Los Olivos Presbyterian
Church in Lima came to serve the community of
Parque Industrial through a VBS. What a
blessing to see missionaries rising up among the
churches in Peru!

We welcomed Lydia Walker and Jesse Abbott from Silent Images, and were
blessed by their service through photography and filmography.

algebra course as part of the
summer school at Cristo
Restaurador Church in Manuel
Arévalo.
15. The niños who participated in the summer school pray
together as part of the closing VBS.
16. Allen Smith teaching on the mission of the church to
members of Cristo Rey Presbyterian Church.
17. Richard and Christi Price visited Trujillo, using
their gifts of healing and counseling to bless
the brethren.
March/Marzo
18. Pastor Juan Marquina puts on his
chef’s hat and helps make tamales for
a Wichanzao Church youth fundraiser.
19. Bethesda Clinic lab tech Kelvin Pastor makes
use of a brand new piece of equipment.
20. The Peru Mission family joined the Ramirez
family in mourning the loss of Esther’s
mother, Amalia Chegne, a loving
mother, grandmother, and faithful woman of
God.
21. Steve and Dianne Hill and August Angulo enjoy a bite of breakfast before church at
Huacraruco, where this trio visits each weekend.
