may carry out or discharge their duties efficiently at all times.
 Reviewing all security and safety measures, procedures, equipment and methods from time to
time for protective and preventive purposes as well as to maintain efficiency and tight security
& safety control.
 Conduct and/or supervises investigations into reports made on file, cases of theft and incidents
and thereafter to submit the investigation reports to the Director of Rooms and General
Manager without undue delay.
 Reviewing daily reports from security personnel, issuing necessary orders and counteracts
unsatisfactory or irregular situations and conditions.
 To be fully conversant with every detail of the hotel layout and the location and functions of :
 Sprinkler system and smoke detectors
 Firefighting equipment and emergency exits
 Fire control room and fire indicator panels
 Emergency evacuation / public address systems
 Emergency assembly area outside hotel
 Fire / bomb threat and security procedures
 Lifts - emergency phone numbers
 First aid equipment
 Manage and monitoring include solving problem the CCTV surveillance of hotel premise
 To assist the General Manager when necessary or as instructed in liasing with police and local
authorities on matters of vice, gambling, theft, death, police vetting etc. and special measures
and requirements for special events or functions.
 Represents the hotel and attends monthly meetings of Police/Hotel Security Liaison
Committee in discussing common problems and practices.
 In the event of an emergency, to take immediate action as required under the hotel’s standing
regulations and to notify the Director of Rooms and General Manager as soon as possible of
action taken etc.
 Ensures that a high standard of discipline and deployment of all security personnel is
maintained at all times.
 Maintenance of continuous surveillance of these areas that are frequented by guests and all
work areas of team members.

 To handle at major crime investigations.
 Establish a common framework for security compliance and measurements. In the process,
also help roll-out and develop a security culture and mindset within the operation groups.
 Support new facilities and customer accounts’ implementation in terms of site security,
security recommendations and solutions related to warehousing and forwarding, etc.
 Manage all aspects of internal CCTV – (serviceability, governance)
 Work closely with Singapore Corporate Security Department to promote security as a
competitive advantage by enhancing and developing security solutions with respect to the
retention of existing and acquisition of new businesses.
 Conduct regular site audits and inspections at every facility and formulate a common platform
for benchmarking and networking. Ensure strict compliance and to highlight/address any issues
of irregularities or non-compliance that may be against the interest of the
facility/operations/company.
 Build a good working relationship with all customers, have regular feedback sessions and
facilitate security-related meetings between the VIPs and the operations managers of the
various respective sites.
 Conduct and promote security awareness trainings and security-related best practices.
 Establish and monitor incident notification and escalation process for all security related
matters, especially for reportable losses/incidents.
 Manage the security coordinators of the various facilities for local guard services, security
systems and security standard operating procedures.
