What works in the classroom of a second language learner?! Technology works ! Communication works! Teacher training works! Parent involvement works ! Highly educatedleaders work ! Technological support of teachersworks! Appropriate assessments work ! (Moore, 2006)
Constructivism A Proven method of instruction… We need to get together and share ideas. (Windschitl, 1999)
Technology……Teaching will never be the same Computers are essential in the classroom for learning a second language  (Liu, 2002) A majority of  foreign language students prefer using technology In the classroom (Liu, 2002)
TestingSmart assessments for the 21st century.  “We ought not to forget that what we are after is far more than high scores on standardized tests” (Eisner, 2003, p.279)
Arts IntegrationMusic, dance, movement and song to ignite young minds. (Eisner, 2005)
We are Effective LeadersWe don’t just fill vessels, we light fires! We shape young minds We have the tools to succeed. We have the continuing education and training to be our best. We are teaching the leaders of tomorrow, let’s light their fire !!!
