The oldest fest in VSSUT having a high reputation.
Audio Visual Club fests of VSSUT, has always been
perceived with great admiration and love.
The fest with highest attendance of faculty
members, students and staff members.
The best way for all the students to interact and
spend time.
It promotes the famous odia films in the state.
A club with round the year activities.
3. OBJECTIVES
Films reflects social realities of life and economic
condition of different kinds of people in our country.so,it
is our duty to bring these things to the students to make
them aware of the realities of life.
As films are a great source of entertainment as well as
inspiration,it helps us to bring everyone irrespective of
their age under one roof to watch films.
Inspirational films inspires a students to move forward in
life and achieve great things.this way , we should inspire
and motivate our future brains by screening inspirational
movies.
4. UNFORTUNATELY the club is gradually losing its
shine and honour.
Some reasons are:
Audio Visual Club is all about cinema and the
love for it. The quality and content of some
films shown earlier were criticized.
Some scenes in the previously shown movies
were not acceptable by the society.
Faulty sound system.
The films are literally inaudible to audiences.
Acoustics provided at the auditorium have
constantly been malfunctioning.
5. Instances of gradual losing of shine and
honour….contd.
Guests, faculty and family members are one
of the most important part of the festival.
They should be bestowed with special care
and attention which seems to be lacking.
Discipline has been the biggest issue in the
last few years. Especially, girls and faculty
members have been avoiding and number of
viewers are declining.
What was once a year round affair has
gradually turned into a 2½ days affairs.
