in the hospital last week and had surgery for a severe
kidney infection;
t for healing for Melva Russcher who had surgery
last Friday to remove melanoma from her head and to
do lymph node biopsies;
t for healing for Connie Lentz’s dad, Jerry
Osborne, who had a severe stroke & has adverse
effects from it;
t for a correct diagnosis for Fay Griffin who is still
suffering with severe pain in her knee and hip and
had more x-rays done last week;
t for safety for John Cook who left last week to
return to SE Asia and for his ministry in that country;
t for John Feyereisen as he was weaned off anti-
seizure drugs last Friday;
t for encouragement for Tobin Crook as he
continues with medical treatments;

2-8 pm starting in the Youth Room. Cost is $15. We’ll be leaving for dinner at 5:30 pm.
Spa Day will include manicures, pedicures, hair & makeup! Sign up at the Student

to exert every possible godly influence on this child; to demonstrate to him/her,
by our godly example, the power and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to
endeavor to lead him/her to a saving faith in the Savior; and to faithfully teach
our child the precious truths contained in the Word of God.
We request the blessing and support of our Church Family to help us to
“train up our child in the way he should go.” (Prov.22:6)

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY There will be no Women’s Bible Study this
Thursday due to the L.I.F.T. event. Join us on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. as we
continue our study of the book of Philippians. The study will continue through
November 17.
FAMILY DINNER NIGHT Family Dinner night will be held this Wednesday
at 6:00 p.m. The dinner is open to everyone in the church. See details and signup
form on the insert today. Please put your signup form in the offering plate today so
we know how many to plan for.
WOMEN’S LIFT EVENT LIFT will be held this Thursday, Nov.10, from 6:30
to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Please join us as we discover what it means to invite
God to wrap Himself around us. During our time of fellowship, we will be making
t-shirt scarves for ourself or to give away as a gift. Light refresh-ments and snacks
will be provided. Please sign up by Tuesday at the Women’s Ministry counter to
ensure that we have enough materials.
YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES BOWLING Young Married Couples are invited
to a bowling outing this Friday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Northland Bowling
Lanes. Dessert will be served at Bill & Debb Large’s following bowling. Please
schedule your babysitters and plan to attend a fun evening out! RSVP as soon as

THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE Plan to join us on Wednesday, November 23,
as we present our hearts of gratitude together. The service will be from 6:30-7:30
p.m. Bring the whole family!
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT There will be no Ladies Dinner & Game
Night in November; however, please plan to join us for our annual Christmas
Potluck Bingo Party on Friday, December 2, at 5:30 pm in the youth room. More
details and signup coming soon!
HOLIDAY ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR BAKE SALE Are you interested in helping
our youth group raise funds for outreach? If so, could you donate a baked item or

With the election only a couple days away, our service tonight will
be a discussion of what our responsibility is to government with a
time of prayer. Join us from 6:00-7:15 p.m. for an evening around
God’s Word. Invite your friends to join you!

FAIR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19

Our 8th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair at Parkside is right
around the corner! As part of the event, we hold a BAKE
SALE with all proceeds going to Youth Missions. Can you help
out by providing baked items such as cookies, brownies, cup-
cakes, breads, pies, gluten free and sugar free items, etc.?
There is a tear-off on the back side of this insert (along with
the Family Dinner Night signup.) Please complete it and put
it in the offering plate or give it to Diane Cartwright or
Judy Timmer. Items must be dropped off at the church
by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18.
ALSO:
Can you help us advertise by posting a flyer at your work place
or any busy location? Could you pass out small flyers to your
friends? You can pick up the flyers or small handouts from the
Welcome Center today. Yard signs will be available later.

in the Family Life Center before Pioneer Clubs from 6:00 - 6:25 p.m. The
menu is biscuit-topped chicken pot pies, coleslaw, jello, clementines,
peanut butter cup brownies and drinks. In order to know how much food
to prepare, please complete the form below and put it in the offering plate

Sunday before Thanksgiving and will be in boxes with your name on them
