Everyone will doubt if Internet Crime Complaint Center Virus is just a ransomware or from the police office. They may feel scared if their computers get such warning suddenly. Even people will be overcautious to do something to get rid of it if they don’t know whether it’s legitimate or not. So the first thing should be clear is that Internet Crime Complaint Center Virus is nothing more than a scam malware which was made by very clever hackers to deceive PC users for money. And as for this virus, it will ask for 500 dollars a time.

Everyone will doubt if Internet Crime Complaint Center Virus is just a ransomware or from the
police office. They may feel scared if their computers get such warning suddenly. Even people will be
overcautious to do something to get rid of it if they don’t know whether it’s legitimate or not. So the
first thing should be clear is that Internet Crime Complaint Center Virus is nothing more than a scam
malware which was made by very clever hackers to deceive PC users for money. And as for this
virus, it will ask for 500 dollars a time.
You must be very curious about how this fake thing works. Let’s learn something on it’s working
principle. Firstly, the virus was made by cyber criminals who have been very well trained in computer
and network field. No wonder a lot of people were taken in the first time they saw this ransomware. It
looks like very legitimate with an emblem of Internet Crime Complaint Center. However, in fact, as
long as you are good at Photoshop program, it’s very easy to forge one. It even can mix the false
with the genuine. So never think it’s really from the association. The thing really can make you be
struck dumb is that it can really locked your computer system and you can’t do anything if you don’t
pay them the “Fine”.
The worst thing is that Internet Crime Complaint Center Virus can escape from your anti-virus such
as famous Norton, McAfee. When you start your computer in safe mode and run your security
program to have a full scan, nothing will be detected from your computer. But this scam malware
only can take effect via the internet. That is why when some users unplug their internet cable, they
can start their computer normally. However, the files related the virus are still in your computer, so
removal work is urgent and necessary. If anti-virus can’t pick this virus up, there must be one solution
to kill it from users computer. Yes, and the only way is to remove the virus manually. In fact, the
hackers how made this virus have already released many different versions all over the word. And in
other countries, the scam will claim it’s from the local government. For example, in USA, it pretends
as the FBI. FBI Moneypak Virus is very rampant in USA.
Tips: A manual removal guide will be listed below. However, the instructions are for those who are
very familiar with the virus and good at computer. If you are not confident to get rid of it, you can

Hi. On my PC today a screen came on that talked about me being guilty of copyright
infringement. However, after researching I found out that it was the Internet Crime Complaint
Virus. I have tried the steps to remove the virus in safe mode with networking and safe mode
with commands. However, under both safe modes, the virus still shows up and will not let me
do anything.

I have a laptop that is infected with the Internet Crime Complaint Center virus. I am on my
office’s pc right now, not the infected computer. I need a little assistance getting this virus off. I
was following your video yesterday, but got lost. I was communicating with another tech person
on your site, but was not able to go on line with my lap top because I didn’t know the security
code. I had to ask someone today, so I am ready. First I have to turn the computer on and get it
into safe mode right?

a few days ago a pop up appeared on my laptop. It says it is the internet crime complaint
center department of federal bureau of investigation. My camera activated and it showed my
location underneath my image. It also said for a $500 moneypak fine to be paid within 72 hrs. Is
this legit?

My computer is running fine now and there is no trace left of the virus… except that now my
desktop is completely black, my taskbar, start menu, folders, and programs (probably among
other things) all look vintage, like they come from a much older version than my current
Windows 7… How can I fix this? THANK YOU !!!

@ RE
You have to manually change your desktop theme from the control panel…I had to do that like
4 times after realizing that this FBI thing was a virus and just restarted my computer to unfreeze
it…It would turn back on looking vintage or sometimes “invisible” for me, of which i had to
navigate my desktop completely from memory because no words were to be found, only the
windows themselves…THAT was an adventure lol
