STANDAR KOMPETENSI 11. Memahami teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk narrative dan report untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari B. KOMPETENSI DASAR 11.3 Merespon makna dan langkah retorika dalam esei pendek sederhana secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk narrative dan report A. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat : 1. Mengidentifikasi berbagai informasi dalam teks naratif 2. Menyebutkan langkah-langkah retorika dalam teks naratif 3. Mengidentifikasi aspek kebahasaan dalam teks naratif 4. Membaca nyaring (story telling) wacana ragam tulis dengan ucapan dan intonasi yang menunjang pemahaman pendengarnya dengan teks naratif sederhana  Karakter siswa yang diharapkan : Dapat dipercaya ( Trustworthines) Rasa hormat dan perhatian ( respect ) Tekun ( diligence ) Tanggung jawab ( responsibility ) Berani ( courage ) B. BAHAN PEMBELAJARAN  Narrative Text Narrative text is a kind of text to retell the story occurred in past tense. The purpose of the text is to entertain or to amuse the readers/ listeners.  Generic Structure 1. Orientation : who, when, what, and where 2. Complication : The series of chronological events and tells the problems of the story. 3. Resolution : The crisis is resolved, for better or worse.  Language features (Aspek kebahasaan) 1. Using Past Tense : Positive : S+V2 Negative : S+did+Not+V1 Interrogative : did+S+V1 2. Using Time Connectives and Conjunctions. ( One day, then, before, after, soon)
  2. 2.  Example The Shepherd Boy Once there was a shepherd boy who tended his sheep at the foot of a mountain. He used to feel lonely during the day. He thought of an idea whereby he could get some company and excitement. He went down to the village and shouted, “Wolf! Wolf.” On hearing his shouts, the villagers came to save him. But no wolf was seen. The angry villagers went back. The boy enjoyed this trick . After a few days, he repeated the same act. Once again the villagers came to help him. They realised they had been fooled once more by the naughty boy. One day a wolf actually came to attack the boy and this time the boy shouted even louder than before. But the villagers thought that the boy was trying to fool them once again. No one came out to help him and the wolf took the sheep away. As the wise saying goes, “No one can know when a liar speaks the truth.” C. KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN Kegiatan Pembelajaran dengan metode 2 cycles four stages berdasarkan pendekatan berbasis jenis teks (genre based approach) KEGIATAN AWAL Apersepsi  Siswa merespon salam guru  Siswa merespon guru mengecek kehadiran siswa  Guru memberikan small chat atau review pelajaran yang lalu  Membandingkan teks narratif dengan report, descriptive dan recount Motivasi  Menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi yang harus dikuasai siswa KEGIATAN INTI Eksplorasi  Memberikan stimulus berupa materi tentang esei pendek sederhana berbentuk naratif  Mendiskusikan materi teks naratif dengan siswa  Memberikan contoh teks naratif  Berinteraksi dengan siswa untuk membekali kosakata pada teks narratif  Memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk membaca contoh teks narrative yang telah diberikan Elaborasi  Membiasakan peserta didik membaca dan menulis yang beragam melalui tugas-tugas tertentu yang bermakna;  Memfasilitasi peserta didik melalui pemberian tugas, diskusi, dan lain-lain untuk memunculkan gagasan baru baik secara lisan maupun tertulis;
  3. 3.  Memberi kesempatan untuk berpikir, menganalisis, menyelesaikan masalah, dan bertindak tanpa rasa takut; Konfirmasi  Memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat, maupun hadiah terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik,  Memberikan konfirmasi terhadap hasil eksplorasi dan elaborasi peserta didik melalui berbagai sumber,  Membantu menyelesaikan masalah; KEGIATAN PENUTUP  Melakukan penilaian terhadap kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan secara konsisten.  Menyampaikan rencana pembelajaran pada pertemuan berikutnya.  Memotivasi siswa agar tetap bersungguh- sungguh dalam belajar  Mengucapkan salam d.
