1. Dear parent,
you are an amazing person! You not only deal with your life but you also have the responsibility for
the upbringing of your child or children.
Don’t you feel it would be nice sometimes to find out how other parents are doing it: to find out
what dilemmas they face and how they decide about matters both important and trivial? Wouldn’t it
be nice just to talk with these parents sometimes?
And, wouldn’t it be nice at the same time to enhance your chances on a better position in society?
Unfortunately, it’s hard to know whether you can trust other people. It is hard to open up if you can
be criticized or worse.
The European project OZO has found a way to just talk to other parents without anxiety and, at the
same time, enhance your chances in society. It proposes an online chat in which no one knows you
are you. And in which a structure and a moderator prevent people from criticizing each other.
You might think: online communication is not for me. But think of the advantages. You do not have
to leave your home and get a person to look after the kids. Nobody can see or hear you so they do
not know you are you. And it’s simple. You just need to go to a website, write a secret word and
you’re in. And then you just type as if you would write an SMS or a chat message in a chat
application.
Project OZO invites you to try out six short sessions, on Wednesday evenings between 20:00 and
21:00. The first session will take place Wednesday May 9th
