4. STAINLESS STEEL
ICE BANK SILOS
Tankki has developed a range of specialized products, one of
the most important are large cylindrical ice bank silos for dair-
ies, ice cream factories and air conditioning applications.
The cylindrical and vertical ice bank silos are designed to pro-
duce ice water of a strict hygienic standard, which is especially
necessary in the dairy and brewery industries. Due to its com-
pactness and aesthetical appearance, the silos are also an at-
tractive solution for air conditioning applications in highrise
and office buildings.
The largest silo can store up to 70 tonnes of ice, and the pur-
pose of the concept is to equalize demand by charging the ice
bank at night using cheap electricity. System is controlled by
the most advanced ice thickness and control system.

BREWERY TANKS

eries since 1967. All large Finnish
breweries and a number of Swed-
ish, Norwegian, Baltic and Russian
breweries are regular customers.
The largest fermenting combi
