The CQ = “Conversation Questions” you can use for your thoughtful inner dialogue, with a friend or a cadre of people (if you happen upon a cadre.) Each of The CQ have a text from a wise guy who is considered by millions of people for 2000 years as history’s greatest teacher and most influential human. His words prompt each trio of questions. Hopefully these questions will engage a worthwhile chat with someone you respect enough to ask. In The CQ you won’t find preaching, judging, right or wrong answers. Just ?’s.

Try popping one of the questions at the dinner table,
while waiting for the movie to start, on the trip to
grandmother’s house, in line at the Department of
Motor Vehicles (that’s going to be a while)…

3. Caution to the wind…
We are warned to not talk about religion & politics.
Why not call this talking about living a good life?

4. A few suggestions…
~ Listen, really listen. We derail discussions about things
we care about because we care more about what we care about
than what others care about. Choose carefully to be careless
about the right things.
~ Ditch being the referee, judge, counselor or den mother.
Engage a conversation instead of engaging a battle.
~ Seek a path of wisdom. It is said wisdom is proven by her
fruit. See what the tree bears before you break out the axe.
~ Don’t fear the unknown. Invite others on the journey.

5. A Thoughtful Prompter…
“Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a
mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to
him, and he began to teach them."
Matthew 5:1-2

6. The CQ
CQ1 - Who would I say makes up a Jesus
kind of crowd?
CQ2 - What does "sitting at His feet" look like
to me and is that different than time past?
CQ3 - What do I think Jesus would say if he
was to "begin to teach me"?

7. The CQ percolate from JESUS COLLEGE. Obviously by
the “Caution to the wind”, the Prompter and the
line of questions, we think what Jesus considers
the good life is a good life. We trust you feel
