Malawians use the kwacha as currency instead of pounds and buy and sell goods between countries and cities. Lake Malawi is over 118,000 square kilometers and has more fish species than any other inland body of water. The capital is Lilongwe, the largest city is Blantyre, and the second largest is Mzuzu. The climate is hot in the south and low areas but temperate in the northern highlands.
