obtained in the Philip-
pine State intensely dividing
Church and Government on
mining issues. Here are very
high stakes in health and wealth
and life and in the corruption
of governance—for which rea-
sons the divide between the
two, Church and government,
only gets deeper and nastier.
Yes, government—from

Chamber of Mines—a power-
house of some thirty-six mining
