conditioning is an essential first step.

This process of interpreting and
categorizing stimuli evolves within a
society to define behavioural norms.
These norms allow families and
communities to interact with some
predictable order.
We may even formalize these as rules and
laws to avoid the chaos that would ensue if
they were not followed.
