At the end of this session, you should know how to: practise your communication and feedback skills consider record keeping requirements reviewing your learner’s performance reviewing your performance as a trainer consider record-keeping.
Checking the trainee’s performance Monitoring your trainee requires: communicating regularly about learning with the trainee allowing time to practise – remember DEDICT meeting performance, conditions and standards that reflect workplace practice communicating regularly about performance with the trainee.
Review - Feedback should be based on work skill outcomes should be offered as soon after performance as possible should focus on positives as well as the negatives should not be overwhelming; bite size pieces.
