2. In the morning we graph our lunch. We eat breakfast after we do our graph. We watch Curious George while we eat our breakfast. We also get to have seconds sometimes. Today we had cereal and graham crackers. My favorite breakfast is breakfast burrito. By Jada Mae

3. When we do the flag salute in first grade, the flag person gets to hold the flag up front. We sing a flag song or sometimes we sing You’re A Grand Old Flag. I like to hold the flag up front.By Devin

5. In the morning we read fun books. Sometimes we sit on the blue carpet and sometimes we sit at our desks. One morning we read a fun book. It was called The Seven Sillies. It is very funny. By Elisabeth

6. In the morning we do literacy tubs during reading groups. The blue tubs are fun. There are books in the white tubs. There are lots of fun reading games and books in these tubs. My favorite tub is the blue phonics tubs.By Sara

7. We do things in the computer lab. We type new things. We go to Slimekids and play typing games. We use the Keyboard to type. I like going to the computer lab with Mrs. Ury. My favorite game is Slimekids.By Xavier

8. In P.E. we play hide and go seek and tag. Some other games that we play are bowling, shark attack, build a wreck. It’s fun getting our exercise. Our P.E. teacher is Mr. Mohs. By Marcus

9. We learn to read with our phonogram cards. It is fun to practice together. Then we do a phonics paper. Sometimes we read a book by ourselves and then we read it to a friend. My favorite book to read is The Pizza Feast. By Delano

10. In first grade we eat lunch the same as you do in Kindergarten. We have to type our number in thenumber pad and then we eat our lunch. Then we dump our trash in the trash can and then we line up at the door. We go outside and my favorite game to play is soccer. When the bell the rings we line up and come inside. By Nicolas

11. Recess is like the same as kindergarten. Some people play a lot on the monkey bars. When it is raining we watch a movie called toy story 2. Recess is very fun. There are two monkey bars. We have lunch recess and afternoon recess. My favorite thing at recess is playing on the monkey bars.By Allison

12. Every day after lunch and recess we do calendar together. We point at the calendar and name the days. All the other kids update their own calendar. We count the days of school and add a number each day. I like to point at the pattern and name it.By Jillian

13. In math we add up money.Sometimes we do think central.Now we tell time. We get our own clock.Sometimes we play math games.It is fun. We follow along on our own math paper.I love to learn about money because I have over hundred dollars at my grandma’s house.By Jewels

14. We sometimes play Think Central on the laptops. Everyone gets their own laptop. We like to play fun math games on the computers. My favorite game to play on Think Central is The Train Game on Mega Math!By Eric

15. We do weekly reader on Tuesdays. We have our own weekly reader and also we have one on the brightlink.It is fun to do the activity on the back of the weekly reader. I like to write the words and draw lines to the right answers.By Adalee

16. On Monday I was making a butterfly bracelet at the Science Workshop. We go to workshops every day except Wednesday. The workshops are: Computer, Reading, Math, Art, Music, Language, Science, and Blocks. My favorite workshop is Science.By Gabriela
