The presentation is made by Ms Anita Goh, Advocacy Officer of the NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), a global network of 80 national and international child rights NGOs.
- The campaign started in 2006 when a group of child rights organisations members of the NGO Group came to the conclusion that a communications procedure was needed for children’s rights violations. This conclusion resulted from observations through the reporting process but also from reports from UNICEF and other organisations.
